A Note from Ashley
It took me thirteen years to earn the right to touch your skin.
You let me into your inbox, and that means more to me than you know. This page is just for you, the man or woman I have not met yet. So before we ever sit down together, let me tell you how I actually got here. The long way.
My name is Ashley, and skincare was never a plan B for me. It was the only plan I ever had.
-
I knew before I was old enough to do anything about it.
I was fifteen years old when I fell in love with skin. Not in a someday kind of way. I knew, the way you know things in your bones, that this was the work I was meant for. I enrolled in a program through my high school and I earned a full scholarship to begin my training early, while I was still finishing school.
I was a kid. I did not understand the paperwork in front of me, and by the time I did, the window had quietly closed and the scholarship was gone. That was the first door to shut on me. It would be far from the last.
-
Life kept knocking the path out from under me.
I tried again at nineteen. I made it halfway through my program before a car accident totaled my car and took my only way of getting to class with it. I had to stop. When I went back to enroll again, the school had closed its doors for good, and the credits and the tuition I had paid for out of my own pocket vanished with them.
So I tried another school. Then a roof caved in during monsoon season and flooded the entire program. Then a pandemic. Then a wall of paperwork and funding I could not get past. Year after year I kept calling that school, every single enrollment season, refusing to let this dream go, because it was not a backup plan for me. It was the plan.
When a seat finally opened, I was the second to last student they let in. I took it and I did not look back.
I built my practice around Circadia by Dr. Pugliese, because I will only ever put my name behind results I trust. Slowly I am integrating new products and brands that align with DCS, my clients and their skin goals.
-
I finally earned my license.
I graduated in 2023, more than a decade after that first door closed on a fifteen year old who simply would not quit. I added my laser certification right after. Then I went to work the only way I knew how, by hand. I built my little practice on the weekends while I worked full time during the week, one client at a time, in borrowed rooms and quiet hours, slowly making a name for the kind of care I believed in.
Nobody handed me any of this. I earned every inch of it.
-
Then I opened a room of my own.
Double Cleanse Skin opened its doors in Goodyear in 2025, and I have been here ever since. It is small, and that is entirely on purpose. One chair, one client at a time, no assistant and no template. When you book me, you get me, and the same set of hands every single visit.
After everything it took to get into this room, I was never going to build something that put a wall between me and the women I get to take care of.
-
The fight it took to get here is the same care you get in my chair.
I did not stumble into this work. I chose it over and over, for thirteen years, through every reason the world gave me to walk away. A woman who fought that long and that hard for the privilege of doing this is not going to give up on your skin.
That is my promise to you. I will look closely, I will tell you the truth about what your skin actually needs, and I will stay with you until we get you where you want to be.
-
My faith carried me through all of it.
It is the quiet foundation under this whole business, and it shapes the way I treat every person who trusts me with her time and her skin. Somewhere in those hard years I learned that helping a woman feel beautiful again is really about helping her feel like herself again.
I was rebuilding my own sense of worth at the very same time I was learning to rebuild other women. That is the heart of what I do here. I see you, and it would be my honor to take care of you.
-
When I am not in the studio you will likely find me somewhere in Goodyear. Whether I’m practicing pilates, snagging the next best coffee, deep in a good skin book, cooking with farm fresh whole foods or somewhere quietly figuring out who I am becoming.
I am in a season of growth myself, learning to set down the roles I once hid behind and meet myself honestly.
Maybe that is why I love this work so much. I get to watch women rediscover themselves, one appointment at a time.
WHENEVER YOU ARE READY
I would love to meet you.
If you have read this far, I already adore you. My chair is here, and so am I.
Let me take care of you.
Warmly, Ashley
